FUNDRAISER/RALLY FOR JUDGE MICHAEL O. CAPERTON AT SWEET HOLLOW GOLF COURSE & RESORT IN CORBIN, KENTUCKY DRAWS SUPPORTERS FROM 7 COUNTIES

A rally turned fundraiser was held for Judge Michael O. Caperton at the Sweet Hollow Golf Course and Resort on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, which drew a crowd of supporters from Laurel, Knox, Whitley, Clay, Pulaski, Lincoln and Harlan Counties.  This showing of support from such a wide geographical area is reflective of Judge Caperton’s appeal to the voters in the upcoming election for Court of Appeals

One of Judge Caperton’s supporters stated that “he is the only candidate with trial court experience and has been a sitting Judge for over 13 years.”  Another supporter remarked, “he is pro-life and promotes faith-based solutions for those who are addicted to drugs.”

The event turned out to be a “huge” success according to Judge Caperton who also thanked the crowd and encouraged all those in attendance to tell their friends and neighbors to be sure and vote on November 6, 2007.  Of course he added, “Vote Caperton, Number 1 on the ballot.”
