Ride Against Drugs / Ride For Hope

 

For the second year, Whayne Supply Company is holding a “Ride Against Drugs” and Poker Run to benefit Operation UNITE’s drug prevention and rehabilitation efforts in Eastern Kentucky.



 The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, September 16, at Perry County Park in Hazard. See the CAT #22 NASCAR race car and register for two free tickets to the 2007 spring race at Charlotte complete with hospitality tent passes. A 2006 Harley-Davidson Super Glide FXD 135 motorcycle valued at $17,000 will be raffled. Motorcycle ride-ins to the event will depart from locations in London, Prestonsburg, Pikeville and Ashland. Jeff Sheppard will be there from 10 a.m. to noon with free give-away items to the first 200 youth. Admission is just $5 per person or $10 for a family.
